Supported Phones
Hi all!
If you've tested KMobileTools, and your phones seems to work well, please post here your model, followed by configuration settings and problems, if present.
That are mines:
Motorola C350 and Motorola C650
Settings: Motorola
Problems: no relevant problems found.
Razr V3 on OpenSuSE 10.0 will work via USB
OpenSuSE 10.0 on generic pc
Razr V3 GSM on Cingular
kmobiletools-0.4.3.1
Works when done in this order:
1. Install kmobiletools (I used RPM).
2. Use a usb Mini-b 5-pin connector via a powered hub-as a side effect, it recharges your phone.
3. Connect phone to cable but not cable to hub.
4. Create a text file of the following line:
BUS="usb" SYSFS{product}="Motorola Phone*" KERNEL="ttyACM*" SYMLINK="mobile" MODE="666" KERNEL="ttyACM*" SYMLINK="mobile"
5. Saved as mobl.rules
6. Copied to /etc/udev/rules.d/
7. Configured kmobiletools- following info on following screens:
.....a. Device: /dev/mobile
.....b. Mobile phone:
..........1. Generic GSM device
..........2. CKPD dial system
8. Shut down kmobiletools.
9. Connect usb cable to hub.
10. Start kmobiletools
Haven't fooled with Phonebook and SMS yet, but program works.
