Hi all!
If you've tested KMobileTools, and your phones seems to work well, please post here your model, followed by configuration settings and problems, if present.
That are mines:
Motorola C350 and Motorola C650
Settings: Motorola
Problems: no relevant problems found.
Motorola V3xx (Cingular branded) USB - works!
I have a Motorola V3xx (Cingular branded) which is the 3G version of the v3x. I am using kmobiletools 0.4.3.3 that came with my Mandriva 2007 install and connecting my phone via
USB.
I have set up a /etc/udev/rules.d/mobile.rules file with:
BUS=="usb", KERNEL=="ttyACM*", SYSFS{product}=="Motorola Phone*", SYMLINK+="mobile"so that my mobile appears as /dev/mobile. I am able to send/read SMS, view the phonebook, and dial/answer/hangup the phone. Battery meter and signal level are working as well.
My settings:
/dev/mobile, text format: 8859-1, port speed: 115200
Generic GSM device (CKPD dial system, use motorola battery indicator)
(I did not try the Motorola C350,C650 settings, as the generic GSM phone settings worked just fine.)
